Real-Time Linux

As spin off of the real-time linux programming activity, certain reports and seminars have been produced. In particular, a seminar paper given at the Control and Automation Lab of the University of Franche-Compte, Besancon, France produced:
  • Real-Time Linux Operating Systems, a seminar paper on Real-Time Linux in general.
This paper is available as PDF document.
  • A Sample Control Application Employing RTLinux, a seminar paper on RTLinux for control in particular.
This paper is available as PDF document.
  • Introduction à la programmation d'applications temps réel sous Linux : un exemple en mesure et contrôle numérique, a presentaiton on Real-Time Linux for control.
This presentation is available as PDF document.
  • Another side effect of real time linux work was the programming of DAQ baord drivers suitable for real time linux, i.e. just small and efficient linux kernel functions, offering necessary functionality such as get_ai_value or set_do_byte to real-time applications. The open sources are available as rtdaq.tgz.
